Robert H. Shepard, age 69, died Wednesday May 2nd at his home. He was born in Warsaw, NY on December 14, 1942 a son of the late Harold and Doris (Kinney) Shepard. Bob worked for the Genesee-Wyoming railroad company, he worked for several constructions firms, a pipeline company in Dunkirk, and was a car painter for the former English Chevrolet in Perry. He was a member of the Perry VFW post 5009, Perry Vets Club, Silver Lake Sportmans Club, the former Perry Moose Club and former Oldies but Goodies Car Club in Perry. He enjoyed owning several antiques cars in the past and was an avid John Wayne collector and buff. |

He is survived by his wife: Linda (Rice) Shepard whom he married on Oct. 4, 1986, 2 sons: Mark (Nahir) Shepard of Colorado Springs, CO., John (Elizabeth) Shepard of Wendell, NC., 4 grandchildren: Taylor, Jordon, Samantha and Alison Shepard, a mother-in-law: Florence Rice of Perry, 4 brother-in-laws: Paul Rice of Perry, Jeff (Mary) Rice of Silver Lake, Steve (Polly) Rice of Leicester, Brian Rice of Perry, along with many nieces and nephews. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: along with his parents is a wife Susan (Kraft) Shepard who died in 1985, a brother: Herbert Shepard, father-in-law: Thomas Rice, brother-in-law: Tommy Rice, sister and brother-in-law: Cindy and Michael Laraby. |

Graveside services will be held on Sunday May 6th at 1:00pm at the Glenwood Cemetery in Perry. |
Burial: |
Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Perry |
