Allan B. Mellin

Allan B. Mellin, age 62, of Hunt, passed away on Monday December 26, 2016 at Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris.
Allan was born in Buffalo, New York on May 9, 1954 a son of the late Donald and Joy (Schall) Mellin.
Allan worked construction for Bill Neal in Wyoming.
He enjoyed cooking, woodworking, working on mechanics in automobiles, lawnmowers and golf carts. He enjoyed riding around in his golf cart.
He is survived by 7 daughters: Samantha and Amanda Mellin both of Shinglehouse, PA., Kelly, Kristy, Katie, Kimberley and Kassy Stacey all of Reading, PA., 3 sons: Craig (Ginelle) Mellin of Hunt, Chad Harmon of Wiscoy and Jeremy Mellin of Perry, 3 sister: Christine Barrett of Perry, Penny Pope of Bliss and Cindy (Ed) Bennett of Gainesville, 2 brothers: Larry (Sylvia) Mellin of Perry, Terry (Lori) Schall of Fl., 16 grandchildren: Ashley, Austin, Bryson, Alexandra, Ashlynn, Abigail, Madison, Blake, Lily, Cody, Ryan, Mason, McKenna, Nolan, Chase, and Christopher, his dog: Fancy along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his companion: Starla Button who passed away in 2008, a sister: Linda Hall and Brothers: Donald, Kenneth and Gary Mellin.
Family and friends may call from 11am-noon on Saturday December 31, 2016 at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry where services will follow at noon.
He will be laid to rest in Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, PA.
