Barbara J. Guido, age 74, of Perry formerly of Clarence Center, died on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
She was born in Buffalo, New York on September 15, 1939 a daughter of the late Robert A. and Margaret (O'Brien) Parks.
Barbara retired from Amherst Pediatrics in Amherst where she was a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She enjoyed gardening, photography, cooking, traveling and swimming.
She is survived by her husband whom she married on July 29, 1961 Dennis F. Guido, a daughter: Denise (Jerry) Forkin of Brattleboro, VT., 2 sons: Ronald (Sahara) Guido of Buffalo and Larry (Bernadette) Guido of Springwater, 3 sisters: Kathleen (Charles) Freeman of Franklinville, Deborah (Gary) Bockstedt of Ogden and Sandra (John) Carrus of Cleveland, Oh., 5 grandchildren: Lily, Natalya, Troy, Gabby and James, an honorary great grandchild: Rylin Etter, along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers: John and Richard Parks, a granddaughter: Dakota Guido and a niece: Julia.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Monday August 25th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 N. Main St. in Perry.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
