Beatrice A. "Betty" Jones

Beatrice A. “Betty” Jones, age 82 of Portageville, NY passed away on May 20, 2022 at her home.
She was born on July 6, 1939 a daughter of the late Robert E. Schiltz and Ruth M. (Slocum) Schiltz-Beardsley.
Betty worked for the former Archway Cookies, Champion Products and retired from Lorraine’s Restaurant in 2002. She was a member of the Wyoming County Twins Club, Wyoming County Home Bureau and was a former 4-H leader. She enjoyed reading and traveling especially her yearly trip to Florida. Betty loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Norman L. Jones whom she married on October 15, 1957, 8 children: Ann (James) Kemp of Castile, Vicky (Connie Allen) Jones of Bliss, Chris (Cynthia) Jones of Bliss, Tracy (David) Bartholomew of Wyoming, Lisa (Daniel) Conklin of Castile, Nadine (Corey) Moens of Wyoming, Becky (Michael) Grisewood of Warsaw and Brett (Ruby Stilson) Jones of Castle Rock, WA., brother: Robert (Mary) Schiltz of Avon, 28 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her step-father: Arthur Beardsley and a niece: Elizabeth “Beth” Schiltz..
Family and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Saturday May 28th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 1pm.
