Carolyn Sue Drumma

Carolyn Sue Drumma, age 83 formerly of North Syracuse passed away on Tuesday February 27, 2024 at Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw where she had been residing.

She was born in Cranford, New Jersey on May 21,1940 a daughter to the late Roger and Alma K (Vonden Deale) Breck.

She was a graduate of Nottingham Central School and received her Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Elementary Education from SUNY Brockport. She was a Pre-school teacher for North Syracuse Central School. She also had worked many years for JL Hammetts, and the Christmas Tree Shop. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Onondaga County.

Carolyn was a member of the former St. Thomas

Episcopal Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She enjoyed knitting, counted cross stitch and many other crafts. She loved going every morning with her friends to Burger King for breakfast. She was an avid walker and a wonderful caregiver for her late husband. She loved visits from the family and especially adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons: Christopher (Stephanie) Drumma of Delmar, NY, Eric (Shannon) Drumma of Perry, NY, Gregg (Allison) Drumma of Arlington, Mass., sister: Barbara Sleight of New Hampshire, sister-in-law: Anita Devine of Canastota, NY, 7 grandchildren: Allison, Kaitlyn, Shawn, Reagan, Connor, Finn and Decclan Drumma and Andrew VanAvery along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Francis Drumma who passed in November of 2018, sister and brother-in-law: Melanie and David Liedka and brother-in-law: Lawrence Devine.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday March 8th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 North Main St. in Perry. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 9th at 2pm at the Baptist Church of Perry 77 North Main St. in Perry.

Memorial contribution may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
