Obituary for Charles R. Dempsey

Charles R. Dempsey, age 86, of Castile NY passed away on Thursday March 19, 2020 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw where he had been residing.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 17, 1933, a son to the late Joseph and Leona (Zilinski) Dinsky.
A graduate of Edison Tech.
Charles served with the US Navy.
He was a tool maker for Federal Stamping and Genesee Metal Stamping in Rochester.
A member of the Perry VFW and former Perry Moose Lodge.
He enjoyed playing poker, reading listening to classical music and watching movies.
He is survived by son: Charles (Cheri) Dempsey of Hilton, 3 step-sons: Charles (Amanda Henlyshyn) DeLorme, Gerald (Darlene App) DeLorme both of Rochester, Eugene (Kathy) DeLorme of Brockport, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Lois Dempsey who passed away in 2016 , daughter: Laurie Dempsey and an Uncle Joseph Zilinski.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
He will be laid to rest in Middle Reservation Road Cemetery in Castile.
