Cora Flint Stedman was born on September 8th, 1927 in Warsaw, NY to Bert and Mildred Simmons Flint.

She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Stedman (2010) whom she married on July 9th, 1947, infant grandson, Michael Ross in 1969 and son-in-law, Tim Lynch in 2019. Also sister Suzie Flint and brothers James and Jerry Flint.

She leaves behind her 4 children, Roger Stedman of Wildwood Florida, Deborah Stedman Hinson of Nashville TN, Sandy Stedman Siegal of Summerfield Florida and Corinne Lynch of Perry NY.

Grandchildren, Amanda Stedman, Sarah (Ken) Malsegna, Kim (Eric) Thrasher, Katrina (David) Dunkleman, Amy (Doug) Roberts, Briar Hinson, Rob (Nicole) Stedman, Ashley (Josh) Knapp, Bridget (Mark) Givens, Tammy Davis, Gavin Lynch and 20 great grandchildren.

She also welcomed Melissa (Kris) Lynch-Kelly and Bobby ( Promise) Lynch, their families and decades of teenagers who enjoyed time in 'Grandma Stedman's' kitchen, as her chosen grandchildren. Everyone was welcome in her house and in her heart.

Also surviving are her brother Bob Flint and sisters; Hazel Ferris, Mary Harcleroad and many many nieces and nephews.

In addition to raising her family, Cora was active in her community as a 4-H Leader, Secretary for the local Cattleman's Association, served on the Democratic Election Board and was a member of JFK's election campaign. She was also a lifetime member of the Perry and Warsaw Moose Lodges where she was Star Recorder and College of Regents. She was a long time member of the Brick Presbyterian Church in Perry, NY. She enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, baking, and spending time with her family.

Cora worked for many years at the Sanders Newspaper in Geneseo, the cafeteria at Geneseo Central School and as a well loved 'Grandma' to clients of the Silver Lake Day Treatment Center in Perry.

She was best known for her green thumb and apple pies.

Even with their busy lives, Lloyd and Cora always had time for a visit from family and their many friends. Everyone has a story of showing up at the 'farm', getting a welcoming smile from Uncle Shorty and a cup of coffee from Aunt Corey around the kitchen table. Some of the most frequent guests were lifelong friends, Floyd and Eleanor Stevens, Gene and Esther Chichester, Harold and Eleanor Aberth and their families.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday August 1st at the Eaton Watson Funeral Home, LLC 98 North Main Street in Perry where services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Cora will be laid to rest in the Leicester Cemetery in Leicester.
