She was best known for her green thumb and apple pies.

Even with their busy lives, Lloyd and Cora always had time for a visit from family and their many friends. Everyone has a story of showing up at the 'farm', getting a welcoming smile from Uncle Shorty and a cup of coffee from Aunt Corey around the kitchen table. Some of the most frequent guests were lifelong friends, Floyd and Eleanor Stevens, Gene and Esther Chichester, Harold and Eleanor Aberth and their families.
