Craig D. Lovejoy

Craig D. Lovejoy, age 56 of Portageville, NY passed away on Thursday September 23, 2021 at Premier Genesee Center in Batavia.
He was born on March 8, 1965 in New Brunswick, NJ to Brenda Sue (Roberts) Fox and the late Felix J Lovejoy.
Craig was a graduate of Northern Adirondack High School and Glenmont Trade School.
He was a cook at Pizza Bono for many years in Plattsburg.
Craig attended the Oakland Wesleyan Church in Nunda. He enjoyed buying, selling and trading items especially through WCJW’s morning tradeio show. He enjoyed collecting various items, was always available to help others, he loved to sing and often would sing with the band Spare Time out of Dansville.
He is survived by his wife Karen (Bock) Lovejoy whom he married on November 13, 1987, mother: Brenda (Richard) Fox of Charleston, NY, daughter Brenda (Leonard) Plaskocinski of York, son: Jeremy Lovejoy of Portageville, sister: Patty (James) Sarrubbi of Windham, NY, brother: David (Amy) Lovejoy of Charleston, NY, 2 grandchildren: Alison and Ronan Plaskocinski, along with 6 nieces, 2 nephews and many friends.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday October 9th at the Oakland Wesleyan Church at 11:00am 1519 St. Rt. 436 Nunda, NY 14517 followed by a Celebration of Craig’s Life at 1:00pm at Letchworth Pines 6985 St. Rt. 19A in Portageville, NY 14536.
