Darlene F. Wright, age 57, of Gainesville passed away on Thursday January 14th at Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia where she had been residing.
She was born in Warsaw, NY on September 19, 1963 a daughter to the late Arthur J. Shearing and Janet F. (Chastek) Callaro.
Darlene was a 1982 graduate of Letchworth Central High School. She worked for the Finger Lakes DDSO for many years (Lakeview ICF Home in Perry) as a LPN. She also had worked at the Livingston-Wyoming ARC home in Warsaw. Jobs Darlene really loved working with the residents.
She enjoyed going on walks especially with her pets, times spent with family at Hamilton beach, trips to Nashville. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved listening to country music. She was a caregiver always taking care of family members as well as their children. Family was the biggest part of her life.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Jessica (Roberto Andino) Wright of Mt. Morris and Kelsey (Ethan) Self of Nashville, TN, Son: Jeremy (Melissa) Wright of Perry, step-daughter: Jennifer Wright of Warsaw, 4 brothers: Arthur (Karen) Shearing Jr., Kenneth (Ann) Shearing, Mark (Karen) Shearing all of Hermitage Walter (Jayne) Shearing of Castile, step-mother: Charlene Shearing of Gainesville, 4 grandchildren: Kylee and Jayce Wright, Amara Andino and Mable Self, along with many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 1-4pm on Sunday January 17th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry.
Please note the Funeral Home will be operating at 33% capacity per state guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory. Thank you for your cooperation.
