David L. Halsey

David L. Halsey, age 71, of Castile, died on Monday July 13, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
He was born in Sodus, New York a son of the late Lawrence and Ruth (Wilklow) Halsey.
David was a graduate of Thomas Edison High School in Elmira Heights and attended Central Collage in Pella, Iowa. He worked for the former Matson Motors in Warsaw in the parts department and retired from McClurg Chevrolet Buick in Perry.
He served with the US Navy.
He was a member of United States Cadillac Club. He enjoyed gardening and fixing antique cars.
He is survived by a brother: Richard Halsey of Rochester, a niece: Nancy Burd, a nephew: Martin Stedge and 2 great nieces.
Along with is parents he is preceded in death by a sister: Diane Stedge.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday July 18, 2015 at 9:00 am in Grace Cemetery in Castile.
He will be laid to rest in Grace Cemetery in Castile.
