Dorothy A. Monteleone, age 77, of Perry passed away on Monday January 9, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo.
Dorothy was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 26, 1939 a daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Gerasimchik) Snow.
Dorothy was a 1957 graduate of Perry Central High School. She worked for the former Champion Products in Perry prior to her retirement.
A member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish. Dot enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casino, gardening, cooking and doing puzzle books.
She is survived by her husband Walter Monteleone whom she married on November 16, 1957, 2 daughters: Michelle (Jeff) Osman of Kennedy, NY, Jill (Jon) Sheffield of Perry, a son: Walter (Cindy) Monteleone of Jacksonville, Fla., 2 sisters: Mary Snow of Batavia, Betsy (George) West of Perry, 2 brothers: John (Kay) Snow of Largo, Fla., Jimmy (Beth) Snow of Lakewood, NY, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law: Cheryl and Ronald Ozzimo who passed away in 2011.
Services will be held in the spring.
She will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
