Douglas Robert (Hazy) Hayes

Douglas R. (Hazy) Hayes, age 35, of Perry, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday June 11, 2015.
He was born on February 26, 1980 a son of Jim and Edie (Cummins) Hayes.Doug was a 1999 graduate of Perry High School. He had worked for the Perry Bowling Center in Perry for several years and was currently a bartender for the Perry Vets Club in Perry.
He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his strong dedication to the Oakland Raiders and Atlanta Braves, he enjoyed golfing, football, baseball, bowling and his garden. He was a social member of the Perry Vet’s Club and Silver Lake Sportsman’s Club.
He is survived by his parents: Jim and Edie Hayes of Perry, girlfriend: Brandy DeVille of Perry, sister: Debbie Hayes of Warsaw, Nephews: Jacob Francis of Perry, Jackson and Maxwell Conway of Warsaw, Aunts and Uncles: Robert and Shirley Cummins, Barbara (the late David) Brown, Frank and Sue Cummins, Richard Cummins, Kathy Cowie, Ray and Bobby Cummins, Renee Wright, Kathy Cummins, Kathy Smith along with several Great Aunts, along with many beloved cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed by his beagle “Beaner”, dachshund “Duncan” and cat “4D”.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert and Amy Cummins and Robert and Vivian Hayes, cousins: Christopher Cummins and Johnathan Smith.
Family and friends may call from 3-7pm on Monday June 15th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry.
A Memorial Service will held on Tuesday June 16th at the funeral home at 4:00pm.
