George A. Harper

George A. Harper, age 71 of Conesus, NY passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Noyes Memorial hospital in Dansville.

He was born on May 22,1952 in Ticonderoga, NY a son to the late Elmer G. and MayBelle E. (Clarke) Harper Sr.

George was farmer for many years, he worked for the former Archway Cookies in Perry and in Florida worked for Cone Construction and Mid Coast Concrete.

He enjoyed collecting football and baseball cards, loved being on the computer, keeping up with social media and especially liked times spent with his family.

He is survived by his 4 children: Mia Harper of Canandaigua, Roy (Kaydee) Harper of Crown Point, Nicholas (Bridgette Steiner) Harper of Bolivar, Lucas (Tara D’Angelo) Harper of Livonia, siblings: Christine (Dale) Baker of Castile, Penny (Kevin) Baker of Perry, Elmer G. (Wendy) Harper Jr. of Crown Point, Richard (Kathy) Harper of Pennellville, David Whitford of Syracuse, Harold (Lauretta) Harper of Port Richey, Fl., Lynn (Deborah) Harper of Mexico, Leon (Tammy) Moses of Conesus, Randy Moses of Conesus, grandchildren: Scott Layer, Rozzalin Harper, Sarah Covin, Carrie (Andrew) Lambert, Raymond (Tiffany) Jordan, Patrick, Michael, Ryan and Nash Jordan, Nate and Ashley Idoni, Camden Harper and Phoenix D’Angelo, great grandchildren: Mason and Oakley Jordan, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by siblings: Anna Mae Harper, Anita Fleming, Pearl Beauchamp, Bonnie Shippee, Mary Welty, Debra, Wanda, Charles and John Harper.

Family and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Thursday February 29th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 North Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 1pm.
