Georgianna Hicks

Georgianna Hicks, age 99, of Perry passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester.
She was born in Dendron, VA on December 29, 1918 a daughter of the late David and Leetie (Pierce) Hicks.
Georgianna was a resident at the Perry IRA and formerly from the Creekside IRA in Nunda. She attended the Oakland Wesleyan Church in Oakland and the Silver Lake Day Treatment Center in Perry where she enjoyed helping with sewing. Her favorite pastime was sorting through her sewing drawer. She enjoyed listening to classical music, socializing, playing games, she like everything around her to be organized, especially in her bedroom, her favorite song was “You are my Sunshine” and she was known to have a great sense of humor.
She is survived by her family and friends at the Creekside and Perry IRA’s
Family and friends may call from 10-11am on Monday July 2nd at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 N. Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 11 am.
She will be laid to rest in the Oakwood Cemetery in Nunda.
