Helen K. Baker

Helen K. Baker, age 92, of Perry, died on Thursday September 17, 2015 at her home in Perry.
She was born in Perry, New York on February 16, 1923 a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Lubera) Kolodziej.
Helen worked for the former Robeson Cutlery in Perry, Mallory Timers in Warsaw, Champion Products in Perry and retired from SUNY Geneseo.
She was a member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Stanislaus Kostka Church) in Perry where she sang in the church choir. She enjoyed flowers and the company and conversations with family and friends.
She is survived by a sister Jennie Wujanik of Perry, a brother: Frank (Thelma) Kolodziej of Emmett, Idaho, a special nephew: John (Corine) Goral of Perry along with many other nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Charles S. Baker who died in 1983, 3 brothers Chester, Casimer and John Kolodziej and 2 sisters: Frances Goral and Stella Bissell.
Family and friends may call from 5-7pm on Sunday September 20 at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday September 21 at 1:00pm at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) in Perry.
She will be laid to rest in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery in Perry.
