James D. Mead Sr.

James D. Mead Sr., age 73, of Warsaw, died on Monday January 26, 2015 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
He was born in Warsaw on August 3, 1941 a son of the late David and Alice M. (Preston) Mead.
James worked for Lapp Insulator in LeRoy for many years. He also ran a auto body repair shop in Perry. He enjoyed NASCAR Racing, working on vehicles, and restoring antique cars.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Tammy (Stephen Denochick) Mead of Nunda, Kimberley (Darrin) Bailey of Middleport, a son: James D. (Brandy Cobb) Mead Jr. of Tampa, FL., a brother: Gerald (Gloria) Mead of Clarendon, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Shirley Mead.
Family and friends may call from 2-3 pm on Saturday January 31st at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry, where services will follow at 3pm.
He will be laid to rest in Leicester Cemetery in Leicester.
