Jennie K. Allbright

Jennie K. Allbright, age 87 of Pike, died Wednesday February 19, 2014 at her home in Pike surrounded by her family. She was born in Pike, NY on October 21, 1926 a daughter of the late Charles A. and Doris Dunning King Newcomb. She was a 1944 graduate of Kenmore High School. She worked for the former Motorola in Arcade. She was a member of the Pike Community Church in Pike and the Pike Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother to her family members.
She is survived by three sons: David (Meredith) Allbright of Pike, Bruce Allbright of Pike, and Peter (Ruth Ellis) Allbright of Orlando, Fl., 3 sisters: Mary Adamowich and Judy King both of Moline, Ill., and Carol King of Pike, 8 grandchildren: Karen Giles, Peter Allbright, Elizabeth Altoft, Brian Allbright, Jason Allbright, Patricia Millen, Phillip Allbright and Andrew Allbright. 13 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by brothers: Edmund, Charles and Albert King.
There will be no prior calling hours.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Pike.
Memorials may be made to the Pike Rescue Squad.
