Julie A. “Jules” Johnson, age 63 of Silver Lake, NY passed away on Monday March 4, 2024 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw surrounded by her family.
She was born in Warsaw, New York on March 11, 1960 a daughter to the late Eugene C. and Etta Mae (Neamon) Woodworth.
Julie was a 1978 graduate of Perry Central School and received her Associate’s degree at SUNY Brockport in Music education.
Julie worked in the food industry her entire life. She was employed at the Silver Lake Country Club until her illness. She had also worked for the Lumberyard Restaurant, Charcoal Coral and the former Archway Cookies.
She was a member of the Perry Vet’s Club, Silver Lake Sportsmen’s Club and played bugle for the former Tri-Town Cadets. In her youth she was quite the musician, playing all types of brass instruments and the piano. She enjoyed listening to WCJW, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing games on her phone.
She is survived by 2 sons: Casey Johnson of Castile, Lucas (Alyssa) Johnson of Perry, sister: Rebecca Dailey of Perry, brother: Russell Woodworth of Silver Lake, a dear family friend: Linda Loeber of Silver Lake, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother: Timothy Woodworth.
Family and friends may call from 12-2pm on Saturday March 16th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 North Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 2pm. A Celebration of Jules Life will follow the services at the Wolf Creek Event Center 12 South Main St. in Castile. (BYOB)
