Lawrence "Larry" C. Atwell

Lawrence C. Atwell, age 78, of Silver Springs passed away on Friday April 21, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
Larry was born on August 7, 1938 in Albion, New York a son of the late Lauren T. and Margaret M. (Sheelar) Atwell.
Larry served with the US Air Force from 1957-1961.
He was a graduate of Albion High School. Larry worked for the Local #85 Rochester Carpenters Union retiring in 1997.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching and making chocolate candies.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara (Bates) Atwell whom he married on July 25, 1987, 3 sons: Michael (Laura) Atwell of Albion, Lauren (Melonie) Atwell of Jacksonville, Fla., James (Christine) Atwell of Edgewater, Fla., 3 step-children: Donna (Dennis) Hare of Castile, Douglas (Elizabeth) Ebner of Silver Springs, John Ebner of Silver Springs, 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Robert Atwell.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
