Leoni N. "Loni" Joos

Leoni N. “Loni” Joos, age 92, of Perry, NY passed away on Wednesday November 3, 2021 at Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw.
She was born in Germany on September 13, 1929 and was raised by her grandparents the late Lawrence and Maryann Bachstet.
Loni was the owner/ operator of the former Heidelberg Restaurant in Warsaw. She enjoyed cooking, reading, listening to music, doing needlepoint and had a great love for animals especially for her family dog Sonny.
She is survived by 2 sons: Frank Joos of Ripley, Thomas (Leisa) Joos of Perry, sister: Margot Morgan of Warsaw, grandchildren: Aaron (Jeanette) Joos, Daniel Joos and Ruthie Joos, 2 great grandchildren: Maximilian and Penelope Joos, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with her grandparents she is preceded in death by her husband: Carl F. “Fritz” Joos who passed away in 2006, daughter: Yvonne Joos who passed away in 1984 and a sister: Inge Wiser.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
