Linda A. Watson

Linda A. Watson, age 74 of Perry passed away on Saturday March 25, 2023 at Suzanne’s Comfort Care Home in Perry.

She was born in Dansville, New York on July 6, 1948 a daughter to the late John A. and Helen E. (Sharak) Nasca.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Warsaw Central School and Continental Beauty School in Rochester.

She was a self-employed hairdresser and interior decorator for many years.

Linda was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) in Perry and the Perry Garden Club. She volunteered at the Perry Elementary School in Mrs. Patridge’s class with reading. She enjoyed gardening, wall papering, doing jigsaw puzzles, reading, sewing and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by a daughter: Jacqueline (Kirk) Higgins of Wyoming, son: Bradley G. (Kara Walters) Watson of Salt Lake City, Utah, 3 sisters: Deborah (John) Gillen of Warsaw, Janice Opladen of Rochester, Julie (Lawrence) Buckley of Georgetown, Texas, 5 grandchildren: Dylan Gerald Klump, Christian Tyler Higgins, Jacob Christopher Higgins, Kaylee Lisa Higgins and Jesse James Robert Higgins along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Gerald R. Watson who passed away in 2007, son: Christopher John Watson who passed away in 1977 and brother-in-law: Steven Opladen who passed away in 2016.

Family and friends may call from 2-5 pm on Friday March 31st at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St in Perry where services will follow at 5pm.

Linda will be laid to rest in St. Joesph’s Cemetery in Perry.
