Margaret R. “Marge” Wagonblott, age 72 of Castile, NY passed away on Saturday November 25, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Buffalo, New York on August 29, 1951 a daughter to the late Edmond and Audrey (Trautman) Hartman.

Marge was a graduate of Chaffey High School in Ontario California and received her nursing degree from Genesee Community College.

She had a great love for dance. Owning and operating the former Elite School of Dance in Kenmore with her friend Darlene Manzella. She was a registered nurse for the former Manor Oak Nursing Home in Warsaw, Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Home, Houghton Nursing Home, Wyoming County Home Care and Hospice and retired from the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris in 2016.

She enjoyed cooking, trying new recipes, exercising, dancing and most importantly spending time with her family.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Heather Davis of Fillmore, Audra (Michael) Beardsley of Gilbertsville, PA., 1 sister: Janice Casilla of Adelanto, CA., 2 brothers: Gary Hartman of Gainesville, Alan Hartman of Warsaw, 9 grandchildren: Ashley (Ryan) Souder, Bethanie Davis, Andrew Davis, Jenna (Dillin Lates) Davis, Hannah Sherman, Alexander, Kylie, Brayden and Nathan Beardsley, 4 great grandchildren: Greyson and Ryleigh Souder, Derick and Bjorn Davis, 4 nephews, 4 nieces along with many friends.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother: Edmond Hartman, sister-in-law: Debbie Hartman, brother-in-law: Paul Casilla and husband: Clarence E. Wagonblott who passed away in 2016.

A Celebration of Marge’s life will be held on Saturday December 9th at 11:00am at the Calvery Chapel of Perry 181 South Main St. in Perry.

She will be laid to rest in Jackson Cemetery in Castile, New York
