Proctor H. George

Proctor H. George, age 96, of Greece, NY passed away at the Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw where he had been residing.
Proctor was born in Fairlee, Vermont on December 24, 1919 a son of the late Ami and Jennie (Holtham) George.
Proctor was an Electrical Engineer for Ritter/ Sybron and had previously worked for General Dynamic both in Rochester.
He enjoyed gardening and working on his yard.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years: Marjorie (Southam) George, 2 daughters: Deborah (Douglas) Roberts of Pagosa Springs, Co., Kathryn (Patrick) Wolcott Sr. of Silver Lake, a son R. Craig (Sarada)George of Rochester, a son-in-law: Thomas Helsher of Manlius, 14 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter: Doreen Helsher his siblings: Kathryn Bacheldor, Arlene Winchester and Carol George.
No prior visitation.
Services will be announced at a later date.
He will be laid to rest in White Haven Cemetery in Rochester.
