Ravenetta (Rae) Zapata

Ravenetta (Rae) Zapata, age 94, of Countyline Rd. in Perry went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 16, 2015.
She was bornin Mt. Kisco, New York on July 22, 1920 a daughter of the late William and Sarah Lee.
Ravenetta was employed by the St. James Hospital in Hornell retiring in 1987. She had many fond memories of her employment at the hospital where she was affectionately known as the “Mail Lady”.
She was a beautiful, selfless woman who loved the Lord and her family. She had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
She is survived by 5 children: Gary (Sheila) Zapata of Cameron, Deborah Zapata of Dansville, Anthony (Julie) Zapata of Rochester, Mark Zapata of Norwalk, CT, Susan (Michael) Patrick of Perry, beloved grandchildren: Mathew (Katrina) Zapata, Adam (Meghan) Zapata, David (Ashley) Zapata, Anthony, Hayden, Isaac and Ysabel Zapata, Lily and Jacob Patrick, 6 great grandchildren, 2 nieces Michelle Hodge and Tina O’Neal, 3 nephews Philip and Larry Williams and Michael Lee.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings: William Lee, Elizabeth (Louis) Williams, Ethel Lee and Richard Lee.
