Richard F. Kelly, age 71, of Perry, NY passed away on Thursday October 6, 2022 at the Highlands at Brighton where he had been residing.

He was born in Warsaw, New York on August 6, 1951 a son to the late Lyle and Joyce (Anderson) Kelly.

Rich was a 1970 graduate of Perry Central High School. He was an occupational therapist assistant for the NYS DDSO Westfall Developmental Center in Rochester.

He attended the First Congregational Church in Perry Center and was a member of the Perry Vets Club in Perry. Rich enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, going out to eat, spending time with family and friends and loved his beagle dogs.

He is survived by a sister: Coleen (Ronald) Kelly-Weierheiser of Perry Center, brother: David of Perry, niece and nephews: Caleb Kelly, Jeremy and Nicole Weierheiser, Aunt: Joanne Kelly of Perry Center, along with many cousins and friends

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday October 15th at 10am at the First Congregational Church in Perry Center.

Rich will be laid to rest in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Perry Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Friends at Wyoming County Animal Shelter 4380 Rt 19 Silver Springs, New York 14550, or to the First Congregational Church P.O. Box 156 Perry, NY 14530.
