Robert J. Eldridge

Robert J. Eldridge, 60, of Perry passed away on Saturday January 26, 2019 at his home.
Robert was born in North Hornell, NY on May 1, 1958 a son of the late Armand and Eleanor (Miles) Eldridge. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Raymond and Gerald Eldridge.

He worked for the former Eastern Moldings in Batavia as a mechanic and for Harding’s Heating and Plumbing in Perry as a plumber. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saint in Warsaw. He was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 18 years where he would speak at many meetings and organizations about his recovery and help others in their recovery. He enjoyed motorcycles, weight lifting, rebuilding vehicles, woodworking and time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by 3 daughters; Kimberly (Jeffrey Murphy) Wilson, Marie (Richard) Stone and Julie Eldridge all of Perry; a step-son Patrick Gell of Pflugerville, TX.; 5 sisters Patricia (Dick) Croston, Linda (Herbert) Mitchell, Lenora (Walter) Gilbert, Nancy (Robert) Drake, Gayle (Michael) McKinney; 5 brothers Armand (Kathryn Eldridge, Thomas (Tammy) Eldridge, Michael Eldridge, David (Yvonne) Eldridge, Peter Eldridge; 2 sisters-in-law Carol Eldridge and Darlene Eldridge; 12 grandchildren Dyllin, Jazmin, Zachary, Victoria, Alexander, Ryan, Alyssa, Sadie, Anthony, Julissa, Caleb and Ian, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends may call from 11AM-2PM on Friday February 1, 2019 at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street Perry, NY 14530. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00PM at the Funeral Home.
