Wesley A. Bathrick

Wesley A. Bathrick, age 82, of Castile, formerly of Attica, NY, passed away on Sunday March 26, 2017 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw where he had been residing.
Wesley was born in Java Center, New York on June 14, 1934 a son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Neidert) Bathrick.
Wesley served with the US Army from 1956-1958.
A graduate of Warsaw High School, Wesley was a farmer in Attica from the age of 10 years old until retiring from the farming industry in the early 1980’s, he went to work for Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw where he worked in the maintenance Department for 25 years retiring in 2013.
He was a 4-H leader for over 20 years with the Wyoming County Poultry Club, he enjoyed reading, gardening, working on the family farm, enjoyed times with his family, especially entertaining his grandchildren and great grandson. His lifelong goal was doing his best to help others.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Bernard) Bathrick whom he married on July 2, 1960, a daughter: Deanna (Timothy Rounds) Hawley of Castile, grandchildren: Timothy (Ariel) Hawley of Gainesville, Sabrina (Dustin Rosowski) Hawley of Castile, great grandson: Skyler Hawley, sister: Avis (James) Freidhaber of North Carolina, along with several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a son: David J. Bathrick who passed away in 1993, 2 sisters: Evelyn Neidert and Margaret Trinidad.
