Ann P. Witek, 97 of Perry passed away on Thursday July 6, 2017 at the Brothers of Mercy Nursing Home in Clarence where she had been residing.
Ann was born in Perry on July 1, 1920 a daughter of George and Anna (Chmiel) Kral.
She worked for the former Perry Knitting Mill and retired from the former Champion Products where she was a secretary.
An active member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Stanislaus Kostka Church) in Perry), where she was involved in the Altar and Rosary Society, Bible study and ecumenical bible study in the area churches. Ann enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, gardening, crocheting, flowers and African violets.
She is survived by many dear nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews along with many friends.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Felix “Phil” Witek who passed away in 1997, sisters: Stella Czajkowski, Mary McConville and Frances Garrow and a brother Walter Kral.
Family and friends may call from 2-5pm on Sunday July 9th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry.
Prayers at the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 am will precede a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church ) in Perry.
She will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery in Portageville.
