Beatrice A. Northrup

Beatrice A. "Bea" Northrup, age 70, of Castile, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 4, 2026 at her home with her husband of 52 years at her side after a short battle with cancer.

She was born in Williamsburg, Virginia on August 9, 1955, daughter to the late Francis D. "Frank" and Betty Jean (Morgan) Donahue Sr.

Bea attended Warsaw Central High School. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, working 17 years at Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw before venturing off to be a self-employed in-home healthcare provider for many local families and their loved ones. Bea had an incomparable love for others.

She was a member of the Wyoming County Home Bureau, where she enjoyed crafting with friends. She was also a Life member of the Perry Veterans Club and the Perry VFW where she was Vice President of the Auxiliary.

Bea had a true love of life, her family, and friends. You only had to follow the sound of laughter to find her. She enjoyed family weekend camping trips and "themed" weekends. She would be the first to dress up in a silly costume and hand out candy from her giant Green M&M. She would do anything to make someone else smile. She may not have traveled the world, but her family and friends would always bring her a keychain from their adventures, something she truly cherished (and she made sure to remind you multiple times to bring one back). She was always up for a car ride through Letchworth Park and a late-night bowl of ice cream! She was a proud Grandmo that loved attending her grandsons sporting and school events. She was proud of her heritage and enjoyed testing her "Irish Luck" at the casino. As much as they disappointed her every year, she loved the Buffalo Bills and always had a "GO BILLS!" for you. She had a pure love for people and life.

She is survived by her husband: William "Bill" Northrup Sr. whom she married on March 16, 1974, children: Sandy (Jeff) Bauer of Perry, Tanya (Dave Delmarle) Northrup of Macedon, William "Bill" (Tammy Ikeler) Northrup Jr. of Castile, step-son: Brandon (Jeriann Aberth) Ross of Perry, sister: Jolene (Bob) Baker of LeRoy, brothers: Frank Donahue Jr. of Castile, Patrick (Theresa) Donahue of Warsaw, Michael (Tammy) Donahue of Warsaw, sister-in-law: Betty (Chester) Ostrowski of Rochester, brother-in-law: Jim (Denise) Northrup of Perry, her beloved grandchildren: Michael and Sarah Bauer, Sebastian Northrup, Carson, Trevor, and Mason Delmarle, Owen Northrup, a special friend: Russ Denning of Perry, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with her parents Bea is preceded in death by brother: David Bruce Donahue, Sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Ronald Storms.

A Celebration of Bea's life will be announced at a later date.
