Charlotte R. Hurlburt, age 90, of Perry, passed away on Wednesday June 5, 2024 at Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw where she had been residing.
She was born in Bliss, New York on January 7, 1934, a daughter to the late Thomas E. and Blanche (Morgan) Hess.
Charlotte was a registered nurse who started out her nurses training at the Wyoming County Community Hospital, where she worked for several years, moving on to several area Doctors and eventually at Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw retiring in 1998.
She was a member of the Baptist Church of Perry in Perry.
She is survived by a daughter: Sandra Hurlburt of Perry, 2 sons: Brian Hurlburt of Webster and Thomas Hurlburt of Warsaw along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with her parents Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband: Theodore Hurlburt who passed away in 1993 and siblings: Luella Tobey, Kermit Hess, Robert Hess and Richard Hess and son-in-law: James Goff who passed away in 2017.
Family and friends may call from 3-5pm on Friday June 14th at the Baptist Church of Perry 77 North Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 5pm.
Charlotte will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Church of Perry, Perry Emergency Ambulance or the Perry Fire Department.
