Perry - Rev. Christ R. Dienner, 87 of Perry passed away on Friday, (October 24, 2025) at his home surrounded by his family under the care of HomeCare & Hospice.
Rev. Dienner was born April 17, 1938 in Gap, Pennsylvania a son of the late John and Christianne (Riehl) Dienner.
Christ was known for his kindness, humor, and ambition. He was not afraid of embracing challenges. He enjoyed spending time with his family and created a fun atmosphere for his wife, children, and grandchildren. Rev. Dienner was a very faithful man who was grateful for the saving grace of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Chirst; and wanted everyone to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Christ is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Stoltzfus) Dienner of Perry; children, John Dienner of Terre Hill, Pennsylvania, David (Verna) Dienner of Gap, Pennsylvania, Samuel (Norma) Dienner of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Wilma (Dathan) Stoltzfus of Perry, Linda (Robert) Yoder of Perry, and Lois (Darin) Riehl of Mill Hall, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Courtney (Jacob) Dueppengiesser, Logan (Erin) Dienner, Brooke (Roman) Thomas, Makenzi (Ernest) Remple, Andreas (Erin) Dienner, Christian Dienner, Samantha (Brandon) Hoover, LeAnn (Thomas) Derr, Corinna Dienner, Destinee Stoltzfus, Andrea (Justin) King, Brandon Stoltzfus, Kyle (Melody) Stoltzfus, Lavon (Amber) Stoltzfus, Christopher Stoltzfus, Emily Stoltzfus, Brian Stoltzfus, Victoria Yoder, Zoe Riehl, and Declan Riehl; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Elsie, Rory, Ezra, Hadley, Casen, Wyatt, Bristol, Marshall, Lucy, Jackson, and Nora; sisters, Emma (Henry) Stoltzfus, Edna (Stephen) Stoltzfus, Christianne (Ben) Stoltzfus, and Lizzie Ann (late Jonathon) Fisher. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Along with his parents, Christ is reunited in death with his sister, Sarah (late Benuel) Beiler.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday (October 26, 2025) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Silver Lake Mennonite Church, 6286 Burke Hill Road in Perry, where Christ's Funeral Service will be held on Monday (October 27, 2025) at 12:00 noon. Burial in Silver Lake Mennonite Cemetery in Perry will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HomeCare & Hospice.
