Danny H. Dake

Danny H. Dake, age 64 of Perry, NY passed away Monday February 10th, 2026 at Noyes Memorial hospital in Dansville.

He was born on May 6th, 1961 in Warsaw, New York to Sandra C. (Crawford) Dake of Warsaw and the late Roland H. Dake.

Dan was a graduate of Perry Central School.

He worked for Charcoal Corral, Silver Lake Institute and currently at Letchworth State Park in ground maintenance.

Dan enjoyed wood working, fishing, going for long rides and spending time with his friends and family. He was a fan of NASCAR and dirt racing. He enjoyed helping his friends with their race cars. He also enjoyed working on small engine repairs.

He is survived by his wife: Amanda M. (Huppe) Dake whom he married on November 15, 2013, mother: Sandra Dake of Warsaw, step-daughter: Joleen D. Huppe and step-son: Jason C. Huppe both of Perry, brother: Randy (JoAnne) Dake of Perry,2 grandchildren: Nevalynn R. O’Neal and Isaac J. Huppe, along with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Celebration of Danny's life will be held on Sunday May3rd from 11am-3pm Letchworth State Park South Highbanks Pavilion in Mt. Morris. (Please feel free to bring a dish to pass.)
