Dianne E. Mason

Dianne E. (Preston) Mason, age 87, of Perry, passed away on Sunday August 30, 2026 at Suzanne's Comfort Care Home in Perry.

She was born in Rochester, New York on July 29, 1939 a daughter of the late James R. and Esther (Little) Preston.

Dianne was a graduate of York Central High School and Rochester Business Institute.

Dianne and her husband ran several businesses throughout their working career. The former Kitchen Kandy Kraft in Batavia and Perry, Mason Lawn Spraying Service, Rodi Trucking Company, Mason's Greenhouse, All Seasons Jewelry and Crafts where they would go to area festivals including the Letchworth Art and Craft Sale for 30 years and Apple Umpkin and sell their homemade wares, including gold leaf jewelry, woodworking, bee wax ornaments and many other home decorations. She worked for the former Rochester Telephone Company as telephone operator, a dental assistant for Dr. D'Angelo in Avon, and also sold Amway Products for many years.

She was a member of the Wyoming County Home Bureau. Dianne was a very talented and gifted crafter. She enjoyed sewing, growing plants, spending time with her family members, especially with her granddaughters, and love all her pets she had over the years.

She is survived by her children: Rhonda (Mark) Popp of Leicester, John Mason of Perry, granddaughters: Melissa and Katelyn Mason of Perry, her boxer dog: Luke, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with her parents, Dianne is preceded in death by her husband: Ronald E. Mason whom she married on November 16th 1963 he passed away on June 8, 2026, 3 brothers: Jerry, Jimmy and Jack Preston.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Dianne will be laid to rest in West Perry Cemetery in Perry.
