Donald C. Edwards

Donald C. Edwards ,82, of Perry, passed away on Friday January 2, 2026 at the Wyoming County Community Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

He was born in Nunda, New York on August 11, 1943, a son to the Charles J. and Madge (Wilkins) Edwards.

Don was a graduate of Nunda Central High School and worked for the former Lucidal Co. in Piffard currently Arkema Inc. and was the former owner/operator of the miniature golf course on Schenck Road in Perry.

He was a former member and President of the Perry Kiwanis Club where he was an umpire for many of their little league games. In his youth was a member of FFA and 4-H. Don was an avid Cleveland Browns football fan and loved to golf, bowl and do jigsaw puzzles. He enjoyed helping out the Merle family with their fresh farm produce stand at the Perry Farm Market.

He is survived by siblings: Patricia (Mark) LaBarron of Swain, Cecil (Barbara) Edwards of Dalton, brother-in-law: Al Downs of Irondequoit, nieces: Jennifer Hawkes, Stacey Landas, Crystal Backes, nephews: Derek LaBarron and Renata Edwards, great nephews: Alden and Dalton Landas, close friends and neighbors: Howard and Betty Bogle and family along with many other friends.

Along with his parents Donald is preceded in death by his wife: Barbara J. Edwards who passed away in 2021 and a sister: Shirley Downs.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
