Dorothy I. Kingdon

Dorothy I. “Dot” Kingdon, age 79 of Perry, NY passed away on Friday November 3, 2023 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw where she had been residing.

She was born in Harrisburg, PA. on August 15, 1944 a daughter to the late Robert Lee and Dorothy I. (Ramsey) Porter.

Dot was a graduate of Scio Central High School.

She worked for the former Champion Product in Perry in the screen making department retiring in 1989.  After the close of Champion Dot became a licensed Day Care Provider for many years out of her home.

She enjoyed going to bingo, walking with friends and spending time with her family. Dot was an avid Buffalo Bills Fan.

She is survived by her children: Rebecca Arft of Piffard and Brian Clair of Rochester, siblings: Kathy Ward of Scio and Frank Porter of Olean, 1 grandson: Ashton Clair of Perry along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Robert F. Kingdon who passed away in 2007, sisters: Roberta Dunn and Patricia Bates.

Family and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Friday November 10th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 North Main in Perry where services will follow at 1pm.
