Eleanor L. Kreutter

Our loving mother, Eleanor L. Kreutter of Perry, passed away peacefully on Friday

October 20, 2023 at the age of 94. She was born in Indian Falls, NY on December 16,

1928, one of 13 children of the late Peter and Clara Klotzbach.

Eleanor graduated from Corfu High School and earned her nursing degree in 1949 from

Deaconess Hospital, Buffalo, NY, where she worked until her marriage in 1951 to

Walter P Kreutter. They moved to Perry to start their new life.

Together they raised six children and became active members of the First United

Methodist Church, as well as other community organizations.

She is survived by two daughters: Susan Grayson (Mark Fredrickson) of Denver, CO,

Anne (Raymond) Slay of Gaithersburg, MD, four sons: Tim (Bonnie) Kreutter of

Geneseo, NY, Paul (Cheryl) Kreutter of Malabar, FL, Steve (Holly) Kreutter of

Alexandria, VA, Andrew (Darcy) Kreutter of New York City, NY, three sisters: Jean

Rudolph of Akron, Kathryn (Roger) Thurber of Indian Falls, Ellen Carey of AZ, 11

grandchildren,11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Walter P. Kreutter

who passed away in 1982, siblings: Eva Silsby, Martha Cook; Leah, Frank, Roy,

Kenneth, Milton, Harry and Glen Klotzbach, and grandson, Jason Kreutter.

We invite family and friends to calling hours on Friday, November 10, from 3:30-6:30pm

at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, 98 North Main St, Perry.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, at 11:00 am at the First United

Methodist Church, 35 Covington St, Perry which is handicap accessible.

Eleanor will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be mailed to the First United Methodist

Church of Perry.
