Helen J. Kunselman

Helen J. Kunselman of Avon, passed away on Saturday June 7, 2025 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris on her 88th birthday.
She was born in Wolcott, New York on June 7, 1937, a daughter to the late Frank and Mildred (Chase) Lewis.
Helen was a graduate of Wolcott Central High School and attended Genesee Community College.
She was a teacher’s assistant at Livingston-Wyoming ARC in Geneseo.
Helen was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Lakeville. She enjoyed arts, crafts and tending to her flower gardens. She enjoyed times spent with her family.
She is survived by a daughter: Brenda Converse of Leicester, 2 sons: Keith Ward of Hawaii and Bud Ward of South Carolina, brother: Carl Lewis of Alabama, 4 grandchildren: Charissa J. Converse, Gary G. Converse II, Robert W. Converse and Kenekee Ward, 8 great grandchildren: Devon Donnelly, Cohen Donnelly, Dakota Converse, Nicholas Converse, Elizabeth Donnelly, Marcus Converse, Gary G. Converse III and Robert Jhan Converse. along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with her parents Helen is preceded in death by siblings: Norma Haynes and Robert Lewis.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday June 24th at 1:00pm at Vitale Park in Lakeville.
