Jean Alice Page

Jean Alice (Martin) Page, 94, of Leicester, passed away on September 24, 2026, at Buffalo General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 11, 1931, in Castile, a daughter of the late Leon Martin and late Nellie (Bush) Martin.

For many cherished years, Jean stood faithfully beside her beloved husband, Richard, sharing in the joys and challenges of life on their family farm. Together, they raised their children, nurtured their home, and built a life filled with hard work, love, and treasured memories. As their children grew and began lives of their own, Jean embraced a new chapter, joining the Bank of Castile. There, she brought the same warmth, dedication, and quiet strength that had always defined her, remaining with the bank until her well-deserved retirement. 

Jean was a longtime and dedicated member of the First Congregational Church, the Wyoming County Home Bureau, the Western New York Draft Horse Club, and the Senior Citizens Club in York/ Leicester. She also proudly served as a 4-H leader for many years.

A creative soul at heart, Jean found joy in making ceramics, knitting, cross-stitching, gardening, games of chance, Sudoku, and puzzles. She especially loved creating and working with her hands, baking for her family, especially cookies for the annual cookie day, always finding a way to bring beauty and joy to those around her.

Above all, Jean cherished her family. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with them and creating lasting memories together. Those memories, filled with love, laughter, and togetherness, will remain a treasured part of her family's lives and legacy.

She is survived by the love of her life, Richard Page of Leicester; children, Kenneth (Joanne) Page of Warsaw and Russell (Laura) Page of Leicester; grandchildren, Tricia (Matthew) Gallo of Livonia, Brittany (Bill) Mogan of Rochester, Brandon Page of Batavia, Sarah (Jackson) Doherty of Avon, Michael Page of St. Petersburg, FL, and Christopher Page of Orlando, FL; son-in-law, Clair Beeman; sister-in-law, Della Page of Le Roy, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and Close Friends.

In death Jean is reunited with her parents, Leon and Nellie Martin; Children, Deborah Beeman and Ronald Page; sibling, Donald (Shirley) Martin; Brother-in-laws, Keith (Anna Louise) Page, Harland (Jean and Mary) Page, Gordon (Evelyn) Page, Carlos Page.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at Eaton Watson Funeral Home, 98 North Main Street, Perry.
