Jeffrey J. Elwell

Jeffrey J. Elwell, 53 of Perry, NY, passed away on Thursday May 12, 2022 at his home.
He was born on March 6, 1969 in Warsaw,NY to Linda J. (Davis) Grover of Perry and the late Richard J. Elwell.
Jeff was a 1987 graduate of Perry Central High School. He worked many years for the Rochester Laborers Union as a roofer.
He enjoyed playing soccer in his high school years where he was voted MVP several times, landscaping around the house, doing word search puzzles, and taking care of his cats and even the neighbors cats when they would come to visit. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fans, Jeff Gordon NASCAR racing fan and Michael Jordan fan. “Jeff was an endlessly giving person throughout his life to anyone he crossed paths with.”
He is survived by his loving daughter: Brittany “Nathan” Gardner of Geneseo, grandchildren: Cooper James and Bryar Elisabeth Gardner, mother: Linda Grover of Perry, step father: Dana (Diane) Grover of Perry, brother: Brian Elwell of Perry, niece: Nicole Elwell of Perry, brother-in-law: Mark Smith of Castile, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Along with his father he is preceded in death by sister: Sara Smith, maternal grandparents: Marie and Everett Davis, paternal grandparents: George and Mary Elwell, uncle Dale Wilhoite and cousin: Vicki Burch.
A Memorial service in honor of Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday June 4th at 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church 35 Covington St. Perry.
Jeff will be laid to rest in Warsaw Cemetery in Warsaw, NY
