Kimberly S. Washburn

Perry - Kimberly S. Washburn, 68 of Perry passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, (October 21, 2025) at home.

Kim was born June 3, 1957, in Hornell, a daughter of the late Lynn and Joyce (Allen) Washburn.

Kim grew up in Castile, NY and attended Letchworth CS. She was a LCS cheerleader and attended BOCES for Cosmetology. She graduated in the bicentennial year of 1976. One of her fondest memories was being in the color guard, a "banner" with the Tri-Town Cadets. She was able to travel and meet wonderful people while competing from 1968-1974.

Kim's favorite job was being called "mom" to her daughter, Shannon. She loved watching her daughter do what she loved, the many activities she was involved in and still missed it all. She was so proud of the woman Shannon became and all that she's accomplished. She was so excited to travel the world with her and spend time with her grand-cats, Pierre and Pippin.

Kim worked for JN White Designs in Perry, NY from 2002-2021 when she retired due to her battle with cancer. She continued to cut hair for many years.

Kimmy loved with her whole heart especially her family - her baby brother, Keith and his three children just like they were her own. She loved spending time with Shelby and watching her littles grow. If you were lucky enough to be in Kim's circle you knew you were blessed!

Kim is survived by her daughter, Shannon Washburn of England; brother, Keith (Maureen) Washburn of Castile; nephew, Ethan (Summer) Washburn; nieces, Shelby (Zakk) Orr, and Halie Washburn.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
