Leonard K. “Lenny” Palmer, age 80 of Perry, NY passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital.
He was born on March 1,1945 in Warsaw, NY a son to the late George and Mary (Louden) Palmer.
Lenny started his working career at the Golf Course in Geneseo “His favorite job he had”, former Star Market in Geneseo, former Retsof Salt Mine, then he became a meat cutter working at Big-M in Avon and Warsaw, and lastly Save-a-lot on Warsaw.
He was a former member of the Perry Vet Club. Leonard enjoyed golfing, walking, playing cards and hanging out with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife: Kathleen M. (Gillen) Palmer whom he married on March 25, 2008, daughter: Christine (Brandon Brown) Cygan of Perry, step daughters: Stephanie (Charles) Hink of Irondequoit, Megan (Jack) Biggins of LeRoy, step-son: Lawrence Stevens of Avon, son-in-law: John Cygan of Castile, sister: Martha Ross of East Rochester, Virginia (David) Conklin of Florida, Brenda (Dale) Eddy of Conesus, brother: James Palmer of Piffard, grandchildren: Cassidy (Garrett Davis) Cygan, Skye Strickland, Mason, Grayson and Grace Biggins, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter: Colleen Falgiano who passed away in 2019, sister: Barbara Eckert and brother: David Palmer
Family and friends may call from 1-3pm on Thursday October 30th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 N. Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 3pm.
