Lisa A. Wheeler

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Lisa Wheeler, age 68, of Perry, who entered the presence of her Savior on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Highland Hospital in Rochester, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous and faith-filled battle with cancer.

Lisa was born in Warsaw, New York on April 14, 1958, the daughter of the late Joseph "Jake" and Phyllis "Mary" (Towers) Jacuzzo. She was a graduate of Perry Central High School, Class of 1976, and Continental Beauty School in 1978. Lisa proudly owned and operated His 'n Hers Coiffures in Perry alongside her sister and best friend, JoAnne, for 48 years.

Lisa attended Calvary Assembly of God in Chili, was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Perry, and participated in a weekly Bible study at Perry Baptist Church. Her faith and spirituality were the foundation of her life, and she remained a shining example of God's love to all who knew her.

Above all else, Lisa was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She shared a beautiful life filled with unwavering love, faith, and devotion with her beloved husband, John Wheeler of Perry. Together they built a life centered around family, faith, and love. She is also survived by her three children, Adam Wheeler of Avon, Natalie (Brandon) Hatz of Rush, and Meghan (Zac) Condidorio of LeRoy; her beloved grandchildren, Noah and Lincoln Wheeler, Sullivan and Mila Hatz, and Brooks Condidorio; her sisters, JoAnne (James) Knapp of Warsaw and Sally (Peter) Sullivan of Satellite Beach, Florida; her brother, Joseph (Amy) Jacuzzo of Seneca Falls; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless dear friends whose lives were forever touched by Lisa's kindness and love.

Throughout every moment of her journey, Lisa's faith in Jesus Christ remained unshakable. Even in the hardest days, she continued to trust God fully and share His love with everyone who crossed her path. Her life was a living testimony of grace, compassion, kindness, unwavering faith, and the power of loving others.

Lisa's greatest passions were her love for Jesus, her family, and loving people with the kindness of Christ. She lived every day with a servant's heart, always putting others before herself and making everyone feel welcomed, encouraged, valued, and deeply loved. Whether through a heartfelt conversation, a loving smile, a warm hug, a prayer at just the right moment, or a simple act of kindness, Lisa had a remarkable gift for touching lives and bringing comfort, peace, joy, and hope to those around her.

Lisa found immense happiness at Rushford Lake, surrounded by her family and grandchildren. Boat rides, campfires, sunsets on the water, laughter, and the simple joy of togetherness created some of her most treasured memories. She deeply cherished family traditions and looked forward to every holiday spent together-especially the warmth, wonder, and magic of Christmas with those she loved most. Lisa filled her home with beautiful family photos that captured the precious moments she created throughout her life. She truly was the sunshine and joy in so many lives - a source of comfort, encouragement, strength, and unconditional love. Her beautiful legacy of faith, generosity, and love will continue to live on in every person blessed enough to know her.
