Louise June (Kellogg) Wilson

Louise June (Kellogg) Wilson, age 82, a lifelong resident of Perry, passed peacefully on September 13, 2026, at her daughter's home, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born September 21, 1943, in Warsaw, New York, the daughter of Forrest and Viola (Valents) Kellogg.

On July 22, 1961, Louise married Peter Paul Wilson, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage until his passing on December 24, 2022. They met while working summers at the former Duracraft in Perry. Together, they built a life in Perry centered around home and family- the things Louise treasured above all else.

Louise worked at a number of local retail establishments throughout her life, including Star Market, Lippman's, Sears, and Mt. Morris Furniture. She also worked in home health care, work well suited to her naturally compassionate and caring spirit.

Louise had a gift for creating beauty. A consummate decorator with a wonderful eye, she took great pride in making her home beautiful and was happiest decorating and rearranging the things she loved. She especially loved the holidays, when she could decorate her home, gather with family, and delight in giving gifts to those she loved. She loved antiques and flowers and found happiness in tending to the home and family she cherished. She found meaning in the simple beauty of everyday life.

She is survived by her children, Brett Wilson (Sandy) and Shelley Kwiecien (Tom); her grandchildren. Mitchell Hatch (Jessica), Brigette Wilson, Sabrina Wilson (Bill), Veronica Wilson (Jack), Kristofer Kwiecien and Nickolas Kwiecien (Morgan); and her cousin, Barbara Hageman.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband. Peter Paul Wilson, and her parent, Forrest and Vila Kellogg.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Louise's life on Saturday, September 26th, from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Letchworth Gate House, 7870 Schenck Road, Perry, New York.

Louise will be buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Perry Center, New York.
