Mavis Rose Blanc

Mavis R. Blanc, 91, of Perry, NY, died Wed. April 18 at Murray Hill in Mt. Morris, NY where she had resided since June of 2017. She was born in the town of Eagle, N.Y. to the late Glen and Arlie (Wallace) Ford.
Mavis was an 18 yr. retiree of the Perry Central Grade school cafeteria staff. She loved to knit and crafted many beautiful sweaters and afghans over the years. She also loved to cross stitch and had won first place at the New York State Fair with some of her work.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis (2013), 5 brothers, 4 sisters and their spouses. She is survived by her Sons Michael ( Linda Buckel ) of Naples, Florida, John of Perry, NY and many nieces and nephews.
Mavis's calling hours will be held at the Eaton Watson Funeral Home LLC. 98 North Main Street, Perry New York on Sunday April 22 from 1 to 3 pm.
Her graveside committal service will be held Monday April 23, 11 AM at Glenwood Cemetery.
