Merle D. Woodworth

Merle Woodworth,76, of Warsaw, formerly of Pike, NY passed away on Tuesday February 3, 2026 at the Eastside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Warsaw.

He was born in Warsaw, New York on September 8, 1949, a son to the Croy C. and Mary M. (Bauer) Woodworth.

Merle was a farmer who worked for many area farms.

He is survived by 2 brothers: Charles Woodworth of Perry, Frederick (Norma) Woodworth of Mt. Morris, sisters-in-law: Barbara Woodworth of Warsaw Patricia Woodworth of Varysburg, along with many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents Merle is preceded in death by his former wife: Diane, sisters: Mary Lou Matyas and Gladys Ann Woodworth, brothers: Eugene Woodworth, Lester Woodworth and James Woodworth.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Merle will be laid to rest in Warsaw Cemetery in Warsaw, New York
