Michael "Ryan" Button

Michael “Ryan” Button, 38, of Perry, passed away on Thursday June 12, 2025 at The Vincent House in Wayland after a courageous battle with Huntington's Disease.

He was born in Warsaw, New York on March 24, 1987, a son to Marcia R. Aaron and the late Michael R. Button.

Ryan was a graduate of Perry Central High School class of 2005. He worked at Letchworth State Park prior to his illness.

He enjoyed all sports including, baseball, golfing, hockey and roller blading. He was an avid train buff. He enjoyed visits from his family.

He is survived by his mother: Marcia, Aunts: Maureen (Bill) Goodwin of North Carolina, Marla (Ron) Roberts of Silvers Springs, 2 special cousins whom he considered sisters: Grace (Austin) Hedges and Celine (Jason Conrad) Roberts, along with other cousins: Dima Aaron, Rita Aaron, Katia (Robert) Powell, B.J. (Megan) Goodwin, Madison Goodwin, T.J. and Mavel Daniels, Aurora Hedges and Mary Blair Goodwin, along with several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Along with his father, Ryan is preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Jerome and Janette Aaron, Paternal grandparents: Roy and Jessie Button and Aunt: Mary Celine Aaron.

Family and friends may call from 12-2pm on Sunday June 15th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 N. Main St. Perry.

Funeral services will be held on Monday June 16th at 10:00am at the funeral home.

Ryan will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Perry.
