Nina M. Howe, age 78 of Perry passed away on Sunday October 9, 2022 at the Wyoming County Community hospital in Warsaw.
She was born in Leicester, New York on February 19, 1944 a daughter to the late John and Jeannete (Carr) Forbes.
Nina was a graduate of Mt. Morris High School.
She worked for the former Champion Products in Perry for many years as the sample sewing supervisor and later retired from Finger Lakes DDSO.
Nina was a member of the Holy Apostles Episcopal Church in Perry. Nina was always on the go doing something for someone, she enjoyed flowers and shopping. First and for most she loved her family, they were her whole life. She always was their to help anyone that needed her.
She is survived by her daughter: Corinne (John) Goral of Perry, “her pride and joy” 2 grandchildren: Natalie and Connor Goral, beloved sisters: Helen Follett of Mt. Morris, Carol Huffman of Mt. Morris, and Elizabeth Denby of Nunda, sisters-in-law: Anne Forbes of Mt. Morris, Sally Forbes of Mt. Morris, Hazel Delany of Conesus, Joan (Judd) Snyder of Fl., brother-in-law: William Leader of Fl., her furry companion: Lefty, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: H. Roger Howe who passed away in 2016, a son: Craig R. Howe who passed away in 1982 and siblings: John, Edward, Paul and Richard Forbes, Jeanette Milliman and Pauline Schmidt.
A Celebration of Nina’s life will be held on Monday October 17th at 11:00am at the First Congregational Church 7209 State Route 20A in Perry Center.
Nina will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry
