Patricia L. Rewa, age 81 of Perry, NY passed away on Monday October 16, 2023 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw where she had been residing.
She was born in Warsaw, NY on October 19, 1941 a daughter to the late Clyde S. and Evelyn (Ellis) Lemley.
Patricia was a 1959 graduate of Perry Central High School.
She worked for the former Archway Cookies and Perry Knitting Mill in Perry. She retired from the Wyoming County Community Hospital where she worked in the data processing department.
She was a former Girl Scout leader, a coach for the Kiwanis Youth Baseball, a member of the Perry International Gourmet Society “PIGS”, volunteered for the Wyoming County Office of the Aging Meals on Wheels Program and St. Isidore’s Catholic Community where she distributed weekly tapes of the service to area shut-ins. Pat enjoyed playing volleyball, quilting, making many quilts for cancer patients, reading, camping, fishing and was a huge Elvis fan and most importantly enjoyed being around her family especially with her grandchildren and new great granddaughter.
She is survived by her children: Jakob Rewa of Warsaw, Heidi (Joseph) Newcomb of Mt. Morris and Erika (Justin) Guetti of Geneseo, siblings: Leota Lemley of Rochester and Jerome (Mary) Lemley of Wyoming, 5 grandchildren: Joshua Rewa, Courtney (Jason) Montgomery, Joseph Newcomb Jr., Jerry and Anna Guetti, 1 great granddaughter: Haven Montgomery, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Jakob Rewa who passed away on August 3, 2022, siblings: Diane Kneeppel and Joseph Lemley.
Family and friends may call from 4-7:30pm on Monday October 23rd at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 North Main in Perry.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 24th at 11:00am at the First Congregational Church in Perry Center.
Pat will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry with her late Husband Jakob.
Memorial contributions the Golisano Children Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
