Peter P. "Pete" Wilson

Peter P. “Pete” Wilson, age 82, of Perry, NY passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday December 24, 2022.

He was born on July 27, 1940 in Warsaw, New York a son to the late Millard F. and Pauline F. (Gnaedinger) Wilson

Pete was a 1960 graduate of Bartow High School in Lakeland, Florida.

He started his working career at the former Duracraft on Tempest St. in Perry, moving onto the former Robeson Cutlery in Perry, Lapp Insulator and Rochester Telephone before owning and operating the former Colonial House Restaurant in Warsaw with his parents, he and his brother operated the former Wilson Auto Sale in Perry Center and lastly becoming an Antique collector and dealer.

Pete was a born-again Christian who had a very deep faith. He enjoyed the simply things in life, relaxing at Silver Lake, sitting on his front porch with his pet cats, going to the Charcoal Corral, gathering with his friends at the former J&C Luncheonette and currently the Country Kitchen, spending time with his family, especially with his beloved grandchildren or looking for antiques to collect or sell.

He is survived by his wife Louise J. (Kellogg) Wilson whom he married on July 22, 1961, daughter: Shelley (Tom) Kwiecien of Perry, Brett (Sandy) Wilson of Perry, sister: Sherry (Lloyd) Byrd of Nevada, Bruce (Laverne) Wilson of Florida, 6 grandchildren: Kristofer Kwiecien, Nickolas Kwiecien, Mitchell Hatch, Brigette Wilson, Sabrina Wilson and Veronica Wilson, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may call from 5-6pm on Monday January 2nd at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 6pm.

Pete will be laid to rest in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Perry Center.
