Ronald C. Ballard

Ronald C. Ballard ,82, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday February 4, 2026 at Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw where he had been residing.

He was born in Warsaw, New York on January 12, 1944, a son to the Robert and Audrey (Hoffman) Ballard Sr.

Ron was a life member of the National Rifle Association, Wyoming Conservation Association Gun Club and former member of the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed gun smithing, CAD drawing, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle with his dog or just enjoying a nice day on his front porch taking a nap or enjoying a beer.

He is survived by his wife: Joanne R. (Cartwright) Ballard, son: J. Wade (Ronette) Ballard of Anderson, SC, former daughter-in-law: Kathy (Chuck) Hendershott of Warsaw, grandchildren: Ronald Brown, Tessa, Laurel and Hannah Hendershott, sisters-in-law: Janet Pietron and Patricia Ballard both of Warsaw, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with his parents Ron is preceded in death by siblings: Richard Bruce Ballard, Raymond Ballard, Robert Ballard Jr., Richard “Dick” Ballard, Roland Ballard and Audrey Cornelius.

A Memorial service will be announced in the spring.

Ron will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery in Silver Springs.
